You can add effects and custom effects in the icon to make it unique and more attractive. A variety of layers have been included in IcoFX. The simple layers palette allows you to select, merge, change the blending and arrange the layers.

You can use the “Batch Create Icons or Cursors” dialogue to create the icons from images. You can combine various icons to create the one. It can also modify the icons. It allows you to convert a Macintosh icon into Windows.
Resource Editor is also an integral part of the application to create the icon and cursor libraries.
IcoFX enables you to work with the colors easily by using different color related panels. They include Color Modes, Palette, Swatches and Recent Colors, etc.
Icon Customization allows you to apply the customization not to the icon only, but to the Folder icon too. It allows you to change or create an entirely new folder icon, drive or removable media. It enables you to carry the customization with you anywhere. So, you can copy the customization from one system to another.

How to Download & Install IcoFX v2.13
Go to the bottom of the page and click the option “Download IcoFX” there.
It will start downloading the IcoFX file. Remember, it is a trial version that is valid for one month only. After one month, you have to purchase one edition to continue using it.
Once the downloading is over, click the downloaded file to start the installation process. Since the file is only 11.2MB, it downloads instantly.
Select the language you want to use and click “OK” to install it.
Once the installation is over, click “Open” to launch the tool.
